Hollywood stars almost never stand on the side of regular people. They claim to, they pretend to, they ACT like they do, but they are always acting on behalf of special interests and vague causes promoted by wealthy manipulative nefarious interests who are BETTER actors than the stars they woo.
But every once in a while a rich, elite Hollywood star has a breakthrough and actually stands for the freedom and principles of liberty that are inherent to this nation and indeed this continent. Today that is what Marvel superstar Evangeline Lilly is doing.
Star of “Ant-Man and the Wasp,” the “Hobbit” trilogy and more, this A-list celeb is risking a lot by speaking out against the burgeoning, Castro-inspired dictatorship of Justin Trudeau. Her plea will almost certainly fall on deaf ears, but making it is the right and moral thing to do.

“Why won’t you sit with them,” asks Lilly. A rhetorical question for the most part because we know darn good and well why. The covid regime dictators don’t care about “the science” any more than they care about the freedoms the governments they lead are destroying. They seek only power. “The Science” is just the latest in a long line of excuses for seizing power and holding it.
“Listen to what they have to say with a mind open to hearing things that might go against the ideas you are entrenched in,” she says to Trudeau. “Maybe there are solutions that could bring Canadians together right now that you have not considered.”
There are, but he won’t avail himself of them. Peace is not his goal, nor is understanding.
“You as a group have gone from ignoring these protesters to dismissing them as a fringe minority, to smearing them as racist and misogynistic, to now attacking them as terrorists,” she said.
“When you became prime minister of Canada, you did not just become the prime minister of the people who agree with you. You became prime minister of every Canadian. You don’t get to pick and choose who you will care about. It is your civic duty to care about all Canadians, even those who you disagree with. Treating them with prejudice, suspicion, and illegal repression is not care,” she said.
“Protesting something that deeply, deeply concerns you in our society is not terrorism, it is the civic duty of every Canadian,” she said. That is an absolute truth of civilized society and yet it will fall on deaf ears.
But it was worth saying.
Trudeau will not listen with an open heart, and he is empowered to ignore the people by the complicity of the press.
