DeMint: I was told I couldn’t change the Senate

Jim DeMint says that two years ago he was told by a Republican leader to relax and stop making trouble because he couldn’t change the Senate. But to him that was a challenge and he worked hard to support real conservatives everywhere he could. And now he says that thanks to America, the power has started to shift from Washington back to the American people and it’s changing the way people think in DC.

This is a great speech. It starts a bit slow but really picks up at around 3:30 or so. Enjoy!
