This is an incredible statement by the Democratic mayor of Palm Beach County, Dave Kerner, in defense of Governor DeSantis. He torches 60 Minutes and reveals some insider information that makes them look even worse.

Kerner accuses 60 Minutes of making their segment ‘intentionally false’, saying he knows this because he offered to tell them what really happened and they refused him. He said “they know that the Governor came to Palm Beach County and met with me and the County Administrator” and then makes clear that THEY ASKED DeSantis to expand their partnership with Publix into Palm Beach County.
Kerner says they asked and DeSantis delivered, and notes that he’d been incredibly supportive of their own plans for mass vaccinations.
To add insult to injury, Kerner makes clear that CBS 60 Minutes knew all of this information and left it out because “it kneecaps their narrative.”
BOOM! This is a Democrat mayor defending a Republican Governor and doing it without pulling any punches, all while slamming the Democratic media as intentional fake news. What more could one ask for in a statement?!?! If this isn’t a resume booster for DeSantis 2024, I don’t know what is!
That makes two Democrats so far stepping up to defend DeSantis and the truth of what happened. What a weird day.
