The Democratic resolution to condemn Rep. Ilhan Omar for her latest anti-Semitic remarks has now been revealed, and it’s missing something that you’d think would be on there.
First, here’s the resolution (click to enlarge):
Did you see what was missing? Her name. It’s not even mentioned in the resolution. You’d think that this resolution, brought up in her honor, would have her name on it, right?
Well it does address her remarks:
A draft of the resolution condemning anti-Semitism does NOT specifically mention Rep Ilhan Omar by name but it does spell out remarks she has said regarding Israel.

The way this reads to me is that it’s really a broad condemnation of anti-Semitism. So while it does address some of the things Omar has said in general, it doesn’t call her out specifically. And, even gives a nod to the anti-Muslim sentiment too:
Sounds like House Democrats are afraid to go full throttle against Omar, because she’s Muslim, so they are watering it down a bit and make it more broad and general.
Sounds about right.
