Democrat Senator vows to break up Paramount because he hates Trump-friendly owner

Skydance Paramount is merging with Warner Bros. Discovery and that has Democrats like Senator Chris Murphy all up in arms. In response to the invitation to attend the White House Correspondents Dinner from CBS Paramount’s David Ellison, Murphy wrote that he’s going to break them up when Democrats get power again:

Ellison and the information oligarchs should enjoy it while they can because when Democrats win power we are going to break these anti-consumer, anti-free speech media conglomerates into pieces.

What is Murphy talking about? Paramount doesn’t have a monopoly here. Not even close. He’s just mad because Democrats are slowly losing control of CBS News. And for his anger, he’s going to lead a campaign to break them up?
