This is hilarious.
The DNC has just chosen the Democrat city of Chicago as the city in which they want to host their 2024 national party convention on the same day Chicago got some really bad news.
And the bad news is absolutely related to the policies of the Democratic Party.
Walmart has just announced it is abruptly closing four stores this month in the windy city because they are losing millions of dollars annually. They aren’t profitable and haven’t been since they opened 17 years ago.
This comes after Walmart already closed three stores in the suburbs of Chicago this year.
Walmart didn’t come right out and say it but you can be sure that crime is one of the leading reasons they aren’t profitable.
Seriously, it’s Walmart. Millions of people go there and it can’t be that hard for them to make a profit.
The Daily caller says “The neighborhoods in which Walmart announced the closures — Chatham, Kenwood, Lakeview and Little Village — have long-struggled with crime and violence.”
So that’s seven stores in just a few months and this is where the DNC wants to highlight their wonderful policies? Perfect choice.
Seriously, what does it say about the policies of a city when Walmart has to pack up and leave because city leaders can’t keep crime under control.
