A very desperate Nikki Haley tried to claim that DeSantis didn’t support bathroom bills when he was campaigning for governor.
But DeSantis was quick to respond and pointed out that he SIGNED a bathroom bill and she did not:
“I signed a bathroom bill in Florida so that’s obviously not true… You killed it. I signed it. I stood up for little girls — you didn’t.”
Haley, getting very desperate: You opposed the bathroom bill!
DeSantis, laughing: “I signed a bathroom bill in Florida so that’s obviously not true"
