Despicable Dem goes after Twitter Files journalist Matt Taibi in chilling attack; Another Dem tries to get him to reveal his SOURCES

Both Matt Taibi and Michael Shellenberger are both before Congress today in a hearing on the “Weaponization of the Federal Government on the Twitter Files.”

During the hearing, the despicable Debbie Wasserman Shultz actually accused journalist Matt Taibi of profiteering over his publishing of the Twitter Files in the last several months.

DWS is attacking Matt Taibi for exposing how Twitter was working with the government to censor people.

She should be directing her questions toward what Matt Taibi published, but instead she’s attacking him for being a journalist!

Tell me, what journalist doesn’t make money that they didn’t have before?? Every journalist works for someone and makes money in their career as a journalist. That’s why her line of questioning is so despicable.

Joe Concha tweeted that this is a chilling attack by DWS: “A chilling attack of an actual journalist by a lawmaker in accusing him of profiteering. Classic deflection in going after the messenger. Matt Tiabbi has all the receipts and she knows it.”

Meanwhile, the ranking Democrat in the hearing today actually tried to get Taibi to reveal his sources.

She was clearly asking him for his sources but then claimed she wasn’t when Chairman Jim Jordan interrupted.

Jordan interrupted her again and went after her for trying to get Taibi to reveal his sources at Twitter:
