Last Friday, the New York State Supreme Court dismissed a lawsuit filed by 9/11 firefighter Tim Brown challenging New York City’s decision to permit the construction of the Ground Zero mosque. For some reason, the court ruled that Brown does not have standing to bring the case. Brown is now appealing that decision.
Brown says that no matter what the courts decide, the 9/11 families, survivors, and first responders will not be going away. He knows many of them will lay down in front of bulldozers if necessary to block construction of the mosque, and remains confident that the mosque “will never be built.”
