There’s a clip of George Soros going around and some are trying to make hay over it, suggesting that Soros is praising DeSantis.
In the clip, Soros predicts that DeSantis will win the Republican nomination after calling him “shrewd, ruthless and ambitious.”
Soros said Trump has become a “pitiful figure” and that his “narcissism has become a disease”.

If you watch the entire clip, Soros isn’t praising DeSantis at all. What he’s predicting is a Democrat landslide victory in 2024.
He believes DeSantis will win the nomination and that Trump will end up running as an independent candidate due to his ‘narcissism’, which will split the Republican vote in the general and lead to a big Democratic landslide “and force the Republican Party to reform itself”.
That’s what he wants to happen and he even says ‘perhaps, I may be just a little bit biased’.
So for those suggesting Soros is praising DeSantis and this is a blight on him, they aren’t watching the entire clip.
