DIGENOVA: Rudy Giuliani raid was just a big show to cover up previous seizure of private data

Joe DiGenova told Larry O’Connor today that the highly publicized raids of Giuliani’s home and office were just a cover for the previous seizure of Giuliani’s private data back in 2019:

DiGenova explains that when the DOJ seized Giuliani’s icloud and google phone records back in 2019, they didn’t use a ‘special master’ to protect the privacy of the attorney client privilege. Rather, they used their own ‘filter team’ to protect it after going directly to Apple and Google with a subpoena.

Fast forward to this year when the DOJ again raids Giuliani, but this time they appoint a ‘special master’ to protect the information. DiGenova argues that this second raid was simply to cover up for the fact that they didn’t do it properly the first time, to get the ‘false patina of a special master’. Because, as he points out, they already had the information from the 2019 raid. There was no need to get the same information a second time.

DiGenova said he hopes all of this washes out in the court system. Watch the video for more…
