DirectTV just added a conservative network to it’s channel lineup after dropping Newsmax.
They just picked up The First, a conservative network that features Dana Loesch, Bill O’Reilly and more.
Here’s the announcement being made by Liz Wheeler, who is also on the network:
Big news! @TheFirstonTV will soon be available on @DirecTV! With the recent addition of The Liz Wheeler Show to The First’s lineup, I'm excited to bring these much-needed messages and stories to the homes of millions of DirecTV customers.https://t.co/f9m7PWyOIP

Well I think a move like this takes the air out of the idea that they were censoring conservatives by dropping Newsmax.
Dana Loesch weighed in on it today, saying no one was banned or censored. It was a decision about carriage fees, etc.

As I understand it, the exact TV channel that was allocated to Newsmax is now being allocated to The First network.
Well there you go.
