This is truly reprehensible. These teens in Harlem and Brookyln dump buckets of water on NYPD officers while they are simply trying to do their job. They also throw the empty buckets at the officers as well:
DISRESPECT: This is what #NYPD Officers are faced with today. Petrified to take action. #BlueLivesMatter @NYCMayor @BilldeBlasio @NYPDnews @NYPD73Pct pic.twitter.com/VRpVKBS5Jb

The videos of cops being doused with water and having objects hurled at them as they made an arrest in #Harlem is reprehensible. NYC’s cops & communities have made remarkable progress — together — but EVERY New Yorker MUST show respect for our cops. They deserve nothing less. pic.twitter.com/mPtPPbUSGZ

Here’s more from Fox 8:
Officials are outraged after two videos surfaced on social media Monday showing New York Police Department officers being drenched by a group of males with buckets of water.
WPIX reports one of the videos was shot in Brooklyn and the other in Harlem.
The videos show the group of males dump buckets of water on the officers, with bystanders laughing in the background. At one point, a bucket actually hits one of the officers in the head. It’s not clear what led to the acts.
WPIX reports that it’s also not clear when the incidents happened. But city and police department officials have released statements calling the actions “reprehensible.”
WPIX reports that the NYPD is looking into the incidents. Charges could be filed.
Charges should be filed and these delinquents should be arrested. Every one of them.
But the NYPD officers in these videos, they deserve medals. Seriously. The level of patience and restraint they showed in the face of such disrespect is nothing short of remarkable. I hope the city of New York finds some way to applaud them for their outstanding service in the face of such persecution.
