Ted Cruz was on with the Ruthless podcast and was asked about his neighbors who shared his wife’s Cancun text with the New York Times:

Cruz said that his wife, Heidi, texted several of their neighbors and that she’s pissed that one of them leaked it to the New York Times. He said several of them are Republican, but others are Democrats and this leaking is “a sign of how ridiculously politicized and nasty” things have gotten.
Cruz then sends a message to his leaky neighbors, saying “here’s a suggestion, just don’t be assholes. Just treat each other as human beings. Have some degree, some modicum of respect.”
