OUT: Wearing just one mask. IN: The more the merrier!
Says Anthony Fauci.
NY POSTS – Two face masks are better than one, Dr. Anthony Fauci said Monday.
The infectious diseases specialist that double-masking is a logical way to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
“If you have a physical covering with one layer, you put another layer on, it just makes common sense that it likely would be more effective,” Fauci said on the “Today” show.
The White House advisor explained that the face coverings prevent respiratory droplets — and the virus — from spreading to other people, as well as protecting the wearer.
Is Fauci being bribed by the mask industry? Gone are the days when wearing masks didn’t really help:
I tolerate wearing one mask where I need to wear it. I do believe it catches my ‘output’ and prevents it from splashing all over the place, which can help prevent the spread of COVID if I have it. But I am NOT going to wear two masks just because logic says it might be a little better having more cloth in front of my face. If my one mask isn’t getting the job done, then I need a new mask.
