Driver injures 14 people trying to get away from NYPD in unbelievable video

A driver in the Bronx injured 14 people trying to get away from the NYPD, smashing into cars and eventually driving on a curb to get around traffic:

There is strong language in the video, as people can’t believe what they are seeing, so HEED THIS WARNING.

Here’s more from the NY Post:

At least 14 people were injured after a wild police chase in the Bronx Wednesday when a car slammed into seven other vehicles during rush hour traffic while trying to flee NYPD officers, police said.

Cops tried to stop a vehicle for excessive tints and smoking marijuana on Fordham Road at about 5 p.m. when things went haywire, according to police.

The video, posted by Bronx tattoo artist David Perez, shows NYPD officers exiting an unmarked vehicle before attempting to stop a green car driving in the opposite direction.

The driver of the green car tries to drive away, tires screeching, but quickly slams into other vehicles on the near bumper-to-bumper rush hour traffic.

The officers, guns drawn, pursue the driver on foot, and can be heard demanding he “get out of the car” and trying to open the car door.

The driver then puts the car in reverse, smashing into several other vehicles, before accelerating forward and T-boning another car.

In a desperate attempt to escape the congested traffic, video shows the driver then goes up onto the sidewalk, and continues driving down the road, appearing to get away.

The video shows people reacting to the incident, stopping to take videos and leaning out of store and car windows.

Bits and pieces of fenders can be seen littered across Fordham Road.

The car was later found abandoned blocks away at Hughes and Crescent Avenues, according to police.

No arrests were made and the investigation is ongoing, police said.

I honestly don’t understand why the cops didn’t shoot the driver. Ok well, I do, but seriously, this thug was ramming cars, putting people’s lives in danger and ended up injuring fourteen people in the process of his escape. And then, as you clearly see in the video, he drives on a sidewalk putting more lives in danger. The driver should have been shot while the officers had the chance, but we all know they probably didn’t because of all the rioting and BLM garbage that would have ensued.

Am I wrong here that the officers should have shot the guy? I’d love to know what you think about this.
