DUDE: Bill de Blasio dumps on Cuomo, says “the bullying is nothing new” and calls for investigation into nursing home scandal

New York is turning into a dumpster fire for Governor Cuomo.

Earlier we told you about his angry threats to New York Democratic Assemblyman Ron Kim for criticizing him over the COVID nursing home deaths and the cover-ups.

Well now Bill de Blasio is taking up for Kim, saying he believes him and that Cuomo’s bullying is nothing new:

“Yeah, it’s a sad thing to say. But that’s classic Andrew Cuomo. A lot of people in New York State have received those phone calls.”

That was incredible. Cuomo has to be seething after watching that and I bet De Blasio is getting one of those ‘phone calls’ from Cuomo right now.

He also called for an investigation into the nursing home deaths and the cover-up today:

During a press conference Thursday, de Blasio also renewed calls for a probe into the nursing home controversy.

“There clearly needs to be a full investigation,” de Blasio said. “We’re talking about thousands of people who were lost, our seniors, our elders, families that still don’t know the truth and questions need to be answered to make sure nothing like this happens again. There absolutely needs to be a full investigation.”

Bill de Blasio clearly sees which way the winds are shifting in New York. It might be early to say, but this could be the beginning of the end for Cuomo’s rein governor of New York. He’ll be up for reelection next year – if the feds don’t get him first. And I so hope they do.
