Taking steps to make sure that people are who they say they are when they cast a vote for important public office is something that the Democrat party opposes vehemently and, therefore, that the media opposes.
Any effort to make sure that votes are properly counted, that ballots aren’t tampered with, that no fraud is committed, that no one who in uneligible to vote casts one, is called racism or suppression by the Democrats. And therefore, by the media.
Jake Tapper a couple days ago asserted on his opinion show that “Texas is the latest state where Republicans suddenly want to make it more difficult to vote. They just rolled out two dozen bills that could restrict absentee ballots. They could limit voting hours, purge voter rolls faster and more.”
A stupid statement. It assumes that procedure is necessarily evil, rather than a necessary evil. If, for example, everyone was voting as much as they wanted, as often, under whatever name they wanted, and it was a disaster, and someone said “well let’s not do that, let’s only vote one time and under your own name,” by Jake Tapper’s method of determining motive you would say that person wants to “make voting more difficult.”
Of course, the reality is they would be interested in making it worthwhile and effective and secure and representative of the actual will of the people. But Fake Tapper doesn’t care about that. He likes his little self righteous narratives.
Fake continues: “All this to crack down on the widespread voter fraud that does not exist, a crackdown largely motivated by Donald Trump’s big election lie. Critics of these types of bills popping up nationwide call it modern day Jim Crow.”
Notice how propagandist Tapper follows the company guideline, referring to the “big lie.” Use of that term to refer to any claims of voter fraud is a branding effort by Democrats and the media designed to silence you and to associate rejection of Democrat’s narratives with being Hitler.
But you don’t want to hear ME explain what makes Fake Tapper the WORST. Mark Levin has it covered, and it’s outstanding.

“He’s a liar. He’s a propagandist — utterly contemptible and utterly corrupt,” Levin said of Tapper. “‘Purge voter rolls’? Isn’t that sinister. As a matter of federal law, states are required to make sure their voter rolls are accurate. It’s not a matter of purging voter rolls. It’s a matter of checking those rolls up against present day residency and whether people are actually alive … this is a good thing. You want accurate rolls, don’t you?
“And how does he know ‘the widespread voter fraud that does not exist’?” Levin asked. “Why does the IRA have auditors? Why do we have an FBI that investigates fraud? Why do we have state and local law enforcement units that investigate all kinds of fraud. […] So, the only place there’s no fraud is in voting? Isn’t that amazing?
“This guy, with a straight face, is lying to everyone,” Levin added. “The only place where there’s not fraud, apparently, is where the Democrats control the cities, and the Democrats control the states. But in this nation, we have a history of voting fraud, particularly in Democrat-controlled cities. Does Chicago ring a bell? New York City ring a bell? Philadelphia ring a bell? Detroit ring a bell? They should all ring a bell! So, [Tapper] is a liar.”
Levin then lays out the facts carefully, and awesomely.
Levin, as usual, is absolutely right. Tapper, as usual, is deliberately wrong.
