It sounds like Mitch McConnell may have died last month and needed to be resuscitated by emergency personnel, according to Fox News.

If they were doing CPR, that at least means McConnell’s heart wasn’t beating. If he wasn’t breathing at the same time, then that is clinical death. Don’t know about his breathing, but odds are that he wasn’t.
Either way, it sounds like the CPR worked and he’s doing better. How long it will take him to return, even if he can at this point, is a definite question.
