Last night Scott Jennings made a hilarious joke about Maine’s favorite Nazi candidate Graham Platner, and the CNN panel just sat there.
Watch below:
In case you haven’t seen the news from last month that Jennings is referring to above, here’s what it’s about via ABC News 4:
Graham Platner, the presumptive Democratic nominee in Maine’s U.S. Senate race, reportedly joked in Reddit posts years ago about masturbating in one porta-potty and admiring penile graffiti in another.
The Maine Monitor news outlet has saved comments it says Platner posted over the last decade and a half and later deleted, including jokes about an arousing smell of toilet water and a “Hot Rod C**k.” The candidate’s campaign team hasn’t returned a request for comment.
Platner, a veteran, reportedly shared one of the messages in a 2017 response to a question about comforting smells for servicemembers. A user asked veterans about scents that helped them feel nostalgic or refocus on the present.
Platner, according to The Maine Monitor, replied, “I still have to jerk off every time I sit in a portas***ter…that blue water smell conditioned me.”
Four years later, he reportedly recalled appreciation he had for graffiti of a penis with two large wheels and wings, squirting fire. “Hot Rod C**k Strikes Again,” the drawing is captioned.
Planter reportedly called it “the most beautiful sight these cynical old infantry eyes have ever seen.”
“It was beautiful,” he wrote, according to The Maine Monitor. “Engorged and veiny, it rode towards its penetrative glory upon two smoking hot rod wheels, smoke and fire enshrouding its tumescence, winged like Nike as it pushed ever forward toward its conquests.
“I sat there in sheer awe, my feelings of happiness to be going home washed aside by the soul filling joy to be allowed to witness such glory.”
In that context, you know the joke is hilarious. Which is why the Media Research Center says CNN doesn’t deserve Scott Jennings.
