Elon Musk just put out a tweet this morning, as Chief Twit, explaining to advertisers and everyone else why he bought the company.

Here’s what he wrote, saying he bought the company not to make money, but to help humanity:

In related news, Musk told employees yesterday upon his visit to Twitter’s headquarters that he does NOT intend to cut 75% of his new workforce:

Musk told Twitter employees that despite recent reports, he will not cut 75% of the staff, Bloomberg reports, citing people familiar with the matter. However, Twitter workers do expect Musk to make at least some cuts after he closes on the deal, scheduled for Friday.

Musk denied that he ever said this in the first place and that the reports were wrong.

But he’d be a fool not to make cuts because after watching this video from Libs of Tikok, you see how lavishly these Twitter employees have it on a day to day basis:
