This is embarrassing. Senator John Kennedy asks the most basic questions about the Constituion and this Biden judicial nominee can’t answer them.
Seriously, we’re talking simple questions on what Article II does, and Judge Charnelle Bjelkengren doesn’t know.
Watch:
Article II of the U.S. Constitution establishes the office of the president.
Apparently Pres. Biden doesn’t expect his own nominees to the federal bench to know that, or be familiar with the Constitution in general. pic.twitter.com/eG4ybffXiq

Kennedy starts by asking what Article V does, and she says “it doesn’t come to mind.” Article V deals with amending the Constitution.
Kennedy then asks about Article II which establishes the executive branch, and she gives the same answer.
Then Kennedy asks her about certain doctrines which are in play right now, and she doesn’t know what those are either.
Sure, a lot of people don’t know these things. But a lot of people haven’t been a judge for 9 years and an assistant AG for 12. Nor are they Biden’s judicial nominee for the federal bench. Yes, she should know these things!
