ESPN just posted this garbage about Bubba Wallace and the so-called “noose” that turned out to be nothing more than a pull handle for the garage door:
Last year, a noose was found in Bubba Wallace's stall at Talladega Superspeedway. The next day, the NASCAR community stood with him in unity.

How can they tweet this out? The FBI found that the pull-handle-rope tied like a noose had been there since the previous year and had nothing to do with Wallace. NASCAR themselves posted this statement:
NEW: FBI concludes that the reported noose placed in Bubba Wallace’s garage had been there since last fall and he was not the subject of a hate crime. FBI determines it was a garage door pull rope. pic.twitter.com/xqF3RYcguV

So why is ESPN tweeting lies about all of this just to push a stupid video special they produced? The whole premise of a ‘hate crime’ was garbage from the beginning. Heck, even ESPN themselves wrote about it:

Here’s a few tweets in response:
Holy hell the lie continues! It was a door pull in his garage. Shame on @espn. https://t.co/BFOFC1IGGp

How do you do an entire special on something that everyone knows was an imaginary hate crime? https://t.co/Y6g0BDrRy8

It's the Jussie Smollet story. https://t.co/E889Dr3NQG

This is a giant lie, Race Car Jussie. https://t.co/8lBq2B6zpl

It was a garage door rope pull.
The correct headline here is that Bubba Wallace perpetuated a hoax to get undeserved sympathy and make himself more famous.
Jussie walked so that Bubba could drive. https://t.co/yQRo1s2XA6
