This doesn’t happen very often but even MSNBC host Katy Tur can’t believe that Biden isn’t implementing more sanctions against Putin.

Katy Tur said:
“These sanctions…he’s not sanctioning Putin directly. He’s not taking away his access to SWIFT. This would fall short of the most major set of sanctions the president can impose. And I guess the open question now is why not do it now? What else is this administration waiting for?”
This is exactly right and I can’t believe Katy Tur is saying this.
But immediately after Tur said this Andrea Mitchell started defending Biden, claiming the Europeans weren’t on board with these tougher sanctions.
So in the end it’s a mixed bag I guess.
