Fantastic: Obamacare summed up in one sentence

I meant to post this on Tuesday because it’s a great succinct summary of Obamacare by Dr. Barbara Bellar candidate for Illinois State Senate:

  1. And BTW, respect is as respect does……When you have cancer, you cut it out! When you see a liar, thief and traitor, you call it like it is and the person doesn’t deserve respect!! That’s what’s wrong with our country anymore! We are so afraid of speaking out and think we have to be politically correct and respectful and our country is going down the tubes……

  2. Too bad she didn’t retire after the election.  I went to her for a couple of doctor visits.  She is a terrible doctor.  Highly don’t recommend anyone that needs a doctor to go to her.

  3. GREAT !
I know it makes great copy, but there is NO SUCH THING as the “Social Security Trust Fund”. Lyndon Johnson dismantled that to finance his Viet Nam War.
What is bankrupted is the United States Treasury. That’s the truth…So not only is there no money for Medicare, there’s no money for anything, except pay raises for members of congress and their pet projects.

  4. Another video that’s not captioned and so someone had to write a transcript for it? How surprising! Half the stuff on television isn’t captioned (only half the advertisements for either candidate and nothing by “Crossroads GPS”). And RARELY IF EVER are videos and multimedia on the internet captioned – and much of which is LEGALLY OBLIGATED or MANDATED to be captioned and audio-described.

  5. Toongoon: System is not allowing me to reply on your post where applicable.
Wow you are spot on. A former school mate just used the same term to me as she is a die hard Dem. I told her I resigned from the Dems and re-registered as Independent and no one is perfect but I am 100% behind Romney/Ryan. Can’t stand that term of agreeing to disagree… who the f cares! Go away if you are too stupid to see the forest for the trees!

  6. Sad but true!!!
I see today that Romney now says He will keep some parts of it!Almost looks like He wants to lose the election!!
This is what I am afraid the Tea Party(and I support them)will use to push a third party or write in vote which would give Obama 4 more years. The delegate debacle already had a number pushing for this!
I hope the Tea Party gets behind Romney and does not try this!
If Obama gets 4 more years goodbye to the USA I love!!
There is a good chance of more supreme court justices being appointed in the next 4 years which is a dire situation along with all the rest of the damage O can do if reelected!

    1. Romney did go on to clarify what “parts” of Oblamer Care he would keep but he shouldn’t associate himself with any of it! He shouldn’t use any of those tainted terms. He should just state what he believes needs to be changed, like making sure insurance companies have to accept pre-existing ailments, etc. We have to make sure to listen closely. He may have been attempting to turn a few who WANT Oblamer Care!

  7. Wow, that was awesome!! Talk about a run-on sentence, but it worked for me.

How did I overlook this thread?

    1. Obama is on video saying that he was going to force private health insurance companies out of business. This whole thing is a deception. They can’t destroy everyone’s healthcare by telling us the truth, so they lie. “We have to pass it so we can see what’s in it”….yet they didn’t put it up for anyone to see before they passed it. The fact that they are hiding so many facts from us and making up lies is reason enough (by itself) to boot them out.

  8. 1 min. 42 secs for the history books…

Dr. Barbara Bellar candidate for Illinois State Senate –

“So, let me get this straight. This is a long sentence.

“We’re going to gifted with a health care plan
    we are forced to purchase,
    and fined if we don’t,
which purportedly covers at least 10 million more people
without adding a single new doctor
but provides for 16 thousand new IRS agents,
    written by a committee
whose chairman says he doesn’t understand it,
passed by a Congress that didn’t read it
    but exempted themselves from it
and signed by a President who smokes

    (much applause and laughter),
    same sentence,

with funding administered by a Treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes

    (applause and laughter),

for which we will be taxed for 4 years
    before any benefits take effect
by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare,
all to be overseen by a Surgeon General who is obese

    (applause and laughter),

and financed by a country that’s broke

    (very much applause and laughter).

“So, what the blank could possibly go wrong?”

    Art

      1. I know!! I am adjusting my life to manage the possible eventuality of Obamacare not being repealed even if Romney wins. I hope that doesn’t happen but I think I’d better prepare.

Half of our current medical accounts that we now serve will be gone overnight in 2014 if the bill is allowed to stand. Only those accounts which are completely private will stand and some of them are recipients of govt money, too, so they will be affected.

Our income stream will be drying up overnight.

        1. If we get control of both houses I think it can be repealed. I’m not worried about Romney because he will definitely get the bills to repeal everything and he is not going to go against the entire premise for getting elected. However, Dems will filibuster and make this a very rough ride. Unless we get some Dems to cross over and help us it might be a dead end. We cannot wait to repeal it down the road. Now or never.

  9. The effects of Obamacare are already starting to be felt. It is estimated that 60% of the healthcare insurance policies out there will fall under Obama’s “Cadillac” plan, meaning they will be hit with a 40% tax. I know of one large financial firm that recently announced they would be scaling back their insurance plan as of Jan., 2013, in order to offset the expense of the “Cadillac” penalty. For this company, that penalty would amount to $4 million annually. The net result is that the first $3900 of healthcare expenses would be out of pocket. No co-pay, no deductible; straight out of his pocket…PER family member.

This is NOT going to be pretty.

    1. Yes, govt will have Real Time Direct Access to everyone’s bank accounts. Govt will tax all non-insured & confiscate all money, then go after property.

Under the “Complete Lives System,” the “Death Panel” will recommend that only able bodies, that contribute to the government, will be allowed life.

Obama wants to finish the transformation, but he must be stopped.

      1. I personally believe there will be “Republican” medical files and “dem” files. You can guess which file will be denied life saving treatment.

        1. I actually know about electronic medical records and integration with other software. It is primarily funded by the federal government and was started under Bush2 long before Husseincare. The investment is substantial and the “meaningful use” requirements are well underway to control payments and force doctors to collect patient information.

This is why the “replace” part of “repeal and replace” ought to scare the hell out of every republican voter.

Of course this is the goal. It is the only goal of government healthcare – to control the populace and drive to single party rule.

          1. Yes, the replace part scares me. It should be replaced with one line: We can buy health insurance across state lines.

            1. By elective, I think they mean the gov’t’s choice to be “elective” with our bank accounts. They will have direct access to our accounts.

                1. They are going to have direct access to our bank accounts. How is that elective? I went to the proceedings two years ago when the first bill got rammed through the House. They will have direct access to our bank accounts.

                2. I’m afraid the elective is with the gov’t. It says they WILL have direct access to our bank accounts. That is NOT elective on our part.

      2. PLease review the video. It says elective access to our accounts. They can’t just grab it without our consent.

    2. Please! It’s bad enough. We need to keep our heads.

This excellent video says that the govt’s access to our bank accounts is elective. That is, with our consent. We elect it as an option to pay.

  10. Folks this is Dr. Janda speaking in 2010 on ObamaNOcare. Did you guys know that if a doctor does not do what the rationing board says he/she will face a 100,000 dollar fine the first time? Jail time the second time?

Did you know the doctor will have to have a handheld computer in the examining room and send his diagnosis to the death panel and wait for permission to treat you? How could 15 people handle the thousands of Americans that are in a doctor’s office at any given moment during the day? What happened to doctor patient confidentiality? Dems whine about Rep’s coming between and woman and her abortionists, but what about this?

This is a shortened version of his speech. You can go to Youtube to hear the whole thing. Please forward this to everyone.

    1. He explains “meaningful use” in there which I mentioned in your other post, has already been used to force doctors to use the digital equipment he talks about.

Like I said – this began under Bush2 – does any one really think Romney will be allowed to stop it?

      1. When was it started under Bush2? The death panel was snuck into the stim-u-less bill and Obama appointed them. Was Bush in on that? When did something like that pass under Bush?

  11. Compared to the alternative.
An industry where citizens pay money to doctors to perform services meant to improve their life and solve their problems. Only the doctors actually make more money if it takes them longer to solve the issues, so they’re really only encouraged to make you think they’re helping, while instead causing as many problems as possible. To this end, they prescribe pills for every ailment, which have many negative side effects. This creates return business for the doctors, and pays off the pharmaceutical companies as well. Only the citizen isn’t actually paying the doctor for any of this. He’s paying another company to pay the doctor for him, because the insurance company can get discounts on rates, and then keep the profit for themselves. But since the citizen isn’t worried about the cost, the doctors get to charge exorbitant fees. So the citizen is paying money to one company who will pay the doctor who will pay the pharmaceutical company to give the doctor drugs to give to the citizen that will solve one problem by creating more, causing the citizen to fork over even more money to the insurance company who passes it along to the doctor who buys even more pills to give back to the citizen who is by now trapped forever in the circular medical system.

And we’re supposed to be scared of the Government trying to clean up this mess that couldn’t possibly get any worse out of fear that something “might” go wrong?

    1. You’ve posted nothing but lies.

First of all ObamaNOcare is unconstitutional….nuff said, but I’ll say something else, what right does the gov’t have to come between me and my doctor? What right does the gov’t have to have access to my medical records?? You folks on the left always scream about Republicans trying to come between a woman and her abortionists….well, what about this?

Look at the video I posted.

    2. Kevin,I have never read such moronic drivel on this sight, ever!Take your medications or step away from the crack pipe or call your obviously much needed psychiatrist or whatever!

    3. Compared to the government.
An industry where citizens pay taxes to professional liars to pay for services with the appearance of improving their lives and solve their problems. Only the politicians actually make more money if it takes them longer to solve the issues, so they’re really only encouraged to make you think they’re helping, while instead causing as many problems as possible. To this end, they vote for bills for every ailment, which have many negative side effects. This creates loss of business for the entrepreneurs, and pays off the lobbyists as well. Only the citizen isn’t actually getting any benefit for any of this. He’s paying the IRS to give him a false sense of security, because the government can get by on a minimum of tax dollars, but they overtax to buy the votes of those who want everything they can get for nothing. But since the taxpayers are under threat of punishment for not paying, congress gets to keep passing laws to increase taxes. So the citizen has his money confiscated by the government who will pay the lazy who will pay it back by electing democrats who will raise taxes on those who work and keep America strong and this cycle is like giving drugs to a drug addict who believe that government will solve their problems and they can sit back let the world pass them by in their induced stupor, causing the citizen to fork over even more tax money to the government who then borrows money from other countries and passes the debt along to the next generations who then buys even more pills to give keep the reality of the government out of their thoughts. Thus the citizen who is by now trapped forever in the circular democratic welfare system.

And we’re supposed to be scared of the Government trying to clean up this mess that couldn’t possibly get any worse out of fear that something “might” go wrong?

There. Fixed it, and I didn’t even have to edit the last sentence.
Don’t thank me, it’s nothing a little education couldn’t fix.

        1. Excellent article p m. I have so many people who I would like to have read it, like our friend Kevin up there but I’m afraid it’s got too many big words and not enough pictures. The libs that I have been talking to lately tell me we’ll have to agree to disagree. I’m sorry, that’s not acceptable.

You know the old saying; You can lead a student to knowledge but you can’t make him think.

        1. Thanks pardner, it’s nice to be appreciated. First post here? Welcome. Just remember that when they are attacking you with lies and ignorance return fire by killing them with kindness, and know your facts.

          1. no not my first post.  Got my feet wet a few other times and I surely know what you mean about knowing your facts.  I always try as I would hate to get caught with my pants down.  LOL   Oh yeah, just kindness and facts, no need for mud slinging… gets you no where, and they’re probably better at it!   Thanks for the welcome.

    4. The gov’t isn’t cleaning up any mess at all. Big pharma is one of the biggest lobbying groups for O-care.

We have gov’t run health care here in Canada — in the past 30 years it has declined steadily despite increasing tax $ & gov’t consultants thrown at the problem. God help you if you are really in urgent need of medical care. The emergency room wait alone will kill you. You need family on hand to fight on your behalf, both in the ER and in the hospital room — for things like water, a diaper change, a word with the doctor. I’ve lived the nightmare. More government means more bureaucrats, lists, posters, rules — it does not mean better care.

  12. That was beyond awesome. Except I wasn’t laughing, because it’s not just a comedy gem, it’s the freaking truth we live.

    Obama must be voted out!

  13. This “sentence” has been around the internet for a couple of years now. The cartoon character Maxine has said it, Donald Trump has been quoted as saying it, and now Dr. Barbara Beller. For some reason, hearing it read aloud instead of reading it on the internet makes it even funnier!

  14. So this Eastwooding of President Pruned Thumb is just going to continue eh? I am surprised at how easily the formerly dignified Republicans have fallen into this dishonorable practice of ridiculing helpless, mindless, but well-disciplined morons When will it end?

Nov 6, 2012. A day that will live in famy.

  15. What great delivery…………she could do standup if being a doctor under Ob-care is not to her liking. My doctor detests it. When I see him, most of the visit is taken up with talk of the looming disaster!

    1. Yep, mine too. Many doctors are taking a wait and see attitude. They are hoping for a Romney victory here. Some will retire immediately if O’ gets reelected.

Here’s the good news though. He’s going to have the cleanest clock on the planet!

Reelected? It’s a pipe-dream, and the pipe is loaded with all manner of smoke-able pharmaceuticals. Ain’t happening.

Line up people. Be part of an historic landslide.

  16. That would be fantastic if it werent sad.

    Come on November!
    I think I can, I think I can….I think WE can.

  17. Great Summation and well played!!! Right Scoop send over to HotAir, Ace, Instapundit, Townhall and the others….needs much more exposure!! This is dynamite!

  18. That is a great ad all by itself. Run it.

It is true ridicule. In other words, ridicule that is also true. Democrats have nothing like it 🙂

  19. I wasn’t laughing, I was thinking that I’m now at the age where if I need a serious medical procedure/operation, I would have to go before a board of bureaucrats/government civilians and seek their permission. They would consider factors such as my age and life expectancy…and would probably deny me the needed medical procedure. That’s not for me or anyone else. This junk was jammed down America’s throat by the dictator in the White House. Time for him and his appointees to leave D.C. forever.

      1. I’m counting on it. Don’t think I’ll be rash enough to say I’m leaving the country if obama wins the election, but I would be devastated, depressed and dejected for months on end.

        1. I will certainly consider moving to Canada, Mexico or Switzerland if IGNORANCE is bound to take over this great Country of ours. Always said they couldn’t keep dumbing down the tests to pass more students in schools. Now that ignorance is coming back to bite us… well you know where.

      2. I know aGOD that is in control , the road looks muddy now ,but GOD is in control ,GET in a prayer group God is listen & will save our country. PRAISE GOD ,BLESS HIS HOLY NAME !!!

    1. sorry to point this out, however, it tramples over the 1st amendment. it also trambles over my concious. the monk Martin Luther also stated his cot of concious is too narrow and too short for gov’t to be in his cot

    2. I am already at the age where I’ve needed several serious medical operations…the first time I had private insurance and it cost me $360,000 (!) OUT OF POCKET, due to the $1 Million cap and costs going over that amount, NOT because of the operation costs, but because I contracted a deadly infection (sepsis) IN THE HOSPITAL! The second time I had only Medicare, and I was knocked down by another snow-skier (who ran), and a femur break cost me just under $10,000 OUT OF POCKET! Naturally, as a middle income worker, this cost me my home…so you can bet your sweet azz I won’t be voting for OBUMMER-CARE!

      1. Baygal, sounds like you’ve been through a lot. I hope you’ve recovered completely and are enjoying good times now. Sometimes it’s hard to rebound after a serious medical condition, so I hope you are doing well and enjoying every day. I’m still mad at obama and the Congress for ramming obummer-care down our throats. That was sooooo wrong the way it was done!!!! What galls me the most might have been when Polosi said, “We’ve got to pass the bill to know what’s in it.” That sums up the way the Dimocrats do their work.

      2. You just gave an excellent example in SUPPORT of The Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare). With this bill, there would not have been a $1 Million lifetime cap causing you to pay an OUT OF POCKET expense of $360,000 and another of $10,000. You would not have lost your house and you would have been able to continue as a middle income worker WITH health coverage still living in your home. So what am I missing?

  20. I wish she would have added that the 15 member nonelected panel of gov’t appointees would make the medical decisions with no ability for the patient to sue to obtain treatment recommended by their physician, that physicians would be required to violate the patient / doctor privilege and that Americans with good health insurance coverage would be taxed at 40% of the cost of the premiums for doing the right thing.

          1. I’m in a town that borders one of hers. Sadly, I looked up my candidate for State Senate, and there is no one listed….but then again, there is no hope for my district.

  21. This is great! I just saw this at another site and was hoping you would post it here, and Scoop, you were mentioned (though not linked) at an American Thinker opinion piece. Not sure if you saw it or not, but it’s titled Democrat Convention Enters Fiasco Territory

  22. i am not LAUGHING! i consider that the political elites have declared war on me and on the constitutoin since the day Obama signed this abonination into law on march 23, 2010.

    1. to unclesamnephew… I agree whole heartedly and don’t know why more aren’t appalled that O could get away with this among all the other high handed egotistical things he has done. He is like a run away train. Never has a Pres gotten away with such unconscionable sh.t!

  23. Hilarious…needs wider play, even the most casual observer can understand from this what a disaster zero are is for us.

    1. Yay!

This is the Premium Grade Fuel for the fire which will consume Obama and company, politically speaking.

      Awesome! 🙂

    2. I had a tough time hearing Dr. Bellar……

HERE’S A TRANSCRIPT OF THE VIDEO:

“We’re going to be gifted with a health care plan we are forced to purchase, and fined if we don’t, which purportedly covers at least 10 million new people without adding a single new doctor, but…….

      – provides for 16,000 new IRS agents,
      – written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn’t understand it,
      – passed by a Congress that didn’t read it but exempted themselves from it, and
      – signed by a President who smokes,
      – with funding administered by a Treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes,
      – for which we will be taxed for 4 years before any benefits take effect
      – by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare,
      – all to be overseen by a Surgeon General who is obese, and financed by a country that’s broke.

So what the blank could possibly go wrong?”

      1. Thanks for the transcript. I had trouble hearing her as well, but wow, would love to hear (or read) more from her.

    3. Very witty and funny. I doubt the leftards living in Cook County will find it amusing. I would really love to see Dirty Dick Turban replaced.
