Fauci has returned to the national spotlight and clearly doesn’t want COVID to be over, warning that we might have to return to COVID restrictions, such as forced masking, if things get bad again or something:

COVID has been on the decline since the Omicron variant came out. Democrats are quickly forgetting about all of these restrictions because it’s an election year and, honesetly, I’m not mad about that. I like this new post-COVID world, but Fauci seems determined to take us back.
Forget Fauci. We should follow the lead of DeSantis and continue putting this behind us.
