FED! New York Times reveals FBI had INSIDE MAN among Proud Boys on January 6

On Saturday the New York Times broke the news that the FBI had an informant inside the crowd that stormed the Capitol building. An informant, one of the Proud Boys, was texting his handler live throughout the whole thing.

Your first instinct is probably to say AHA! I KNEW IT!!! but if you ask me the real revelation isn’t that the FBI had people on the inside, whether informants or agents or both.

No, the REAL reveal is this: “In the informant’s version of events, the Proud Boys, famous for their street fights, were largely following a pro-Trump mob consumed by a herd mentality rather than carrying out any type of preplanned attack.”

Yeah. Kinda hard to prove a grand conspiracy when the FBI’s own informants contradict that.

And for the lefties, this will really stick in their craw: “But the records, and information from two people familiar with the matter, suggest that federal law enforcement had a far greater visibility into the assault on the Capitol, even as it was taking place, than was previously known.”

So the FBI ain’t winning contests with either side. And there’s still more, too.

The F.B.I. also had an additional informant with ties to another Proud Boys chapter that took part in the sacking of the Capitol, according to a person familiar with the matter, raising questions about the quality of the bureau’s informants and what sorts of questions they were being asked by their handlers before Jan. 6.

Y’all, I’m sorry. But that is pretty hilarious if you really think about it. What were these guys even doing? Like seriously what was the FBI doing? Trying to start something? Getting snowed? Do they even KNOW?

The Blaze has more on the report, including some pretty incredible messages from the Proud Boys among themselves talking about “normies” getting riled up. It’s all … well, nuts.

I mean it’s NUTS that we’re just now reading about things like this after MONTHS of the narrative being set in stone by CNN and the rest of the MSM, to INCLUDE the New York Times.
