The bussing of illegals to New York and other sanctuary areas of the country has clearly had an effect on these cities and the New York mayor has had enough.
Yesterday Mayor Eric Adams actually called on the Biden administration to control the border:

It wasn’t as strong as you or I would haven’t wanted to hear it, but the fact that he said it means the bussing from Texas is working.
Just yesterday illegals were filmed sleeping outside the iconic Roosevelt Hotel, which is used to process asylum seekers these days:

According to the New York Post, the best Secretary Mayorkas would give Adams to deal with his problem of illegals is a liaison between his administration and the Biden administration. Despite Adams thanking Mayorkas for this in the video above, the Post says he’s not happy about it because he was hoping for much more.
