Feds RAID apartment of Rudy Giuliani in Ukraine probe

Rudy Giuliani has found himself on the receiving end of a federal raid as authorities try to establish that Giuliani illegally lobbied Trump on behalf of Ukrainian officials:

NY POST – Federal authorities in Manhattan raided the Upper East Side apartment of Rudy Giuliani on Wednesday as part of a criminal probe into the former mayor’s dealings in Ukraine, a report said.

The investigators confiscated Giuliani’s electronic devices as part of a search warrant, the New York Times reported, citing sources.

A spokesperson for the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York declined to comment on the reported raid. A call to Giuliani’s cellphone went straight to voicemail Wednesday afternoon.

The search warrant is an escalation in the feds’ probe of the former mayor, who is being investigated over whether he illegally lobbied former President Donald Trump on behalf of officials and oligarchs in Ukraine, the Times reported.

The Ukrainian officials at the same time were helping Giuliani dig up dirt on Trump’s political rivals, including then-Democratic candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

Investigators in the Justice Department had tried for months to secure the search warrant, according to the report. Prior to Biden taking office, Trump appointees at the DOJ had attempted to block the warrant from moving forward, the Times reported.

A federal warrant needs to be approved by a judge, and prosecutors need to persuade the jurist that a search would yield evidence of a crime.

This is exactly the kind of thing that makes me roll my eyes…HARD. Justice only seems to go one way in America these days.

If Giuliani did something illegal and wrong, then fine, hold him accountable. But also hold accountable the current president and his son for their criminal activities when it comes to Ukraine, China and who knows where else. Seriously, I’m sick and tired of seeing only people on the right investigated while people on the left can do anything, and even admit it, and not be held accountable.
