Joe Biden will likely call you a racist if you oppose his first black female Supreme Court nominee because that’s just what he does these days.
But here’s a time nearly 20 years ago when he threatened to filibuster a potential nominee on the short list who would have been the first black female on the high court:
FLASHBACK: In 2005, Joe Biden vowed to filibuster Judge Janice Rogers Brown when she was on the shortlist to be nominated to the Supreme Court.

This, of course, is after his outrageous handling of the confirmation of Justice Clarence Thomas.
I’m sure Biden would have said at the time that his filibustering would have been based on principle. But do you think he’ll afford his critics the same grace for merely opposing his choice? Heck no. He’ll smear them as racists just like he did the other day when he smeared Republicans states for wanting to keep black votes don’t counting.
Because of that I’m posting this.
