Unless you want that inexperienced PUNK in the whitehouse for another FOUR, WE had better:
a. CAMPAIGN as hard as you can for YOUR particular Conservative/Republican
b. GRIEVE if he / she doesn’t win the primary
c. GET OVER IT
d. HOLD YOUR NOSE and vote for ANYBODY OTHER THAN that Socialist Obama
IF YOU DON’T DO THIS, YOU WILL HAVE THAT MORON FOR ANOTHER FOUR…
…No voting for Ron Paul to “prove a point”, IF HE DOESN’T WIN THE PRIMARY…
( if he does, then OF COURSE vote for him in the general )
…No writing-in Newt, if he doesn’t win the primary…
THAT’S THE REALITY, FOLKS…
VOTE for a 3rd party and the OUR VOTE is split and BOZO-BAMA, the retarded, socialist moron wins again…

I’m Willard Romney. I’m a mormon, but I only have one wife. People call me Mitt. My Dad ran for president, but he failed. So I must try and live out his dream. Every hair on my head is strategically placed. People think I’m not human, and they’re actually right. I’m a robot. My CPU is a next generation pentium i30. My project codename is Machine Intuitive Technical Toy (MITT). I will say or do anything to get elected to any office in the land. My programmers have told me to be a Republican. The republican base hates me, but I have downloaded a new program that gives me herman cain’s charm. My programmers have taken off my tie when I do interviews. This will give humans the appearance that I am not too stuffy. I supported Rocky Anderson because he is a mormon. And he gave me money to… Read more »

Are you referring to the post of yours directly above your second? Disqus has been quirky lately, posts have been delayed or have disappeared temporarily (it happened to one of mine yesterday). As a moderator I can assure you, that you would have been made aware if we had found a post inappropriate enough to remove.

This is ridiculous. We can never say something good about a person from the “other side”. Seriously, stop looking for reasons not to support someone and look for what it is going to take at this time in history to make this election count for the conservatives. The moderates (middle) will not, I repeat, will not vote a Tea Party candidate right now, and without their vote, the conservatives cannot win. We need to “get our guy in” and then stuff the cabinet with staunch conservatives. Instead of politically assassinating candidates on the GOP ticket, we should be working together and laying out our expectation for what we want after the win. Times have changed. Romney was a R governor in a D state. He did well with what the majority of them wanted. It is not his place to change the laws, but to sustain the laws. Part of… Read more »

For pete’s sake fellas. Do you think watching you two stroking each other’s egos in public makes me want to vote for either of you?

I feel nauseous.

the only way I will vote for Romney is if he’s the only choice I have to defeat Obama, until then he is currently in last place for my vote. I will not suffer a RINO! And worse, a Flip Flopping RINO!

The relationship between the parties is getting mighty creepy! Sort of, ” you kiss my ass and I’ll kiss yours”! …….Really my friends, don’t you think it is time to sweep the garbage out of OUR house, and the senate? Since we are getting ready to clean out the White House, why not congress as well? Your vote is your broom!! Don’t ride it any longer, USE IT!

Why is Mippity Flip Flop Romney not appearing on any talk shows and continues to avoid direct in your face interviews?.Could he be playing prevent defense and wants to skate into the primaries by default while every other candidate is being undressed to their bones? And why are the drive by news guppies giving him a pass? Could it be that they want to save him for a sacrifice after the primaries?

The answer is, Yes. But maybe your question was rhetorical smile

Mitt is only the tip of the iceberg. Erick Erickson at RedState just posted an article on the phony conservatives in the GOP.

http://www.redstate.com/erick/2011/11/01/days-of-whine-and-poseurs/

For those who think the GOP will abolish the tax code and put in a flat tax or 9-9-9 read this and weep.

Heritage should start measuring conservatives on bills they propose and pass which REMOVE legislation, regulations and dept funding.

I believe they are with their new project. It appears that the ACU (American Conservative Union) is just a tool for GOP to use to hide their true Rino-hood.

The bottom line is that the GOP is playing us for saps and we need to wake up and hold them accountable.

So let me get this straight …The media and the RNC have already told us we are going to get Mitt Romney as our only choice. The same guy that got his ass handed to him by that fireball of a politician John McCain. And we know how that McCain Vs Barack Hussein Obama saga ended. If Mitt is our choice ill vote third party. or like last time not at all. And Barry will get his second term

it’s just strange to me how Romney was the conservative alternative to Mccain back in 08, but now he’s just totally an unacceptable RINO for 2012…

Said in 2008: “Let’s face it, none of the candidates are perfect. They never are. But McCain is the least perfect of the viable candidates. The only one left standing who can honestly be said to share most of our conservative principles is Mitt Romney.

I say this as someone who has not been an active Romney supporter. If conservatives don’t unite behind Romney at this stage, and become vocal in their support for him, then they will get McCain as their Republican nominee and probably a Democrat president. And in either case, we will have a deeply flawed president.”–Mark Levin

Romney was only a “conservative” if you believed what you saw on TV. Neither was McCain. True Conservatives knew this.

“I’m a liberal dimocrat. I believe in big government, big spending, big taxes, man-made global warming, and government mandated health care. If you want a good looking, well-dressed, smooth talking, republican President who’ll govern just like a dimocrat – your only choice is Mitt Romneycare.

Mitt Romney – more of the same. But with an ‘R’.”

since he was governor of california and passed a very liberal abortion law… of course he changed his position on abortion… just like romney has changed some of his positions… but you can’t look past those…

There is a huge difference between a man who came to believe, to his core, in the intent of the Constitution and the mortal danger to our freedom from big Central Government, vs, a man who merely claimed to be a Conservation while believing to his core in undermining the Constitution and growing Government.

During the years Rocky Anderson was mayor of SLC, I was a bicycle commuter who rode across county lines into Salt Lake. There was no safe way to get into the city by bike so my fellow cyclists and I had to ride on the shoulder of a 6 lane highway in a 50 mph speed zone. A couple of times a year, a cyclist would get hit by a car and the results were usually fatal. As a dedicated greenie, Mayor Anderson had removed traffic lanes to put in cycling lanes in other parts of town. We petitioned the city to add a cycling lane to the highway, which could have been done without removing any of the existing traffic lanes. Since the most dangerous part of the road was in an industrial area that didn’t even have curb and gutter, it could have been done by simply widening… Read more »

Look at how many people have been run over by trains while Ralph Becker is ain charge. He is a dimwitted moron. That law he passed that you can’t idle your car more than 2 minutes is nothing more than a power trip.

Travis Pierson

I don’t think you can blame train accidents on the Mayor. In my opinion, it’s pretty tough to miss all the warnings so you have to goof up pretty badly to get hit by a train. Becker is horrible due to ineptitude. His no-idling ordinance is nothing but a “looky what I did” law which will probably cost him re-election.

I did like some of the things Anderson did, like de-funding D.A.R.E. since it had no measurable effect, but the dumb things he did were intentional, cynical and calculated.

I’m just glad I haven’t been a SLC resident for the past 10+ years. You guys can’t seem to get a decent mayor and the Representatives you’ve sent to D.C. have been terrible ever since Owens retired. Hopefully the new district boundaries will help that.

Gosh, a bicycle lane, using gov tax money for a small group. Isn’t that socialism, or communism? I guess you could get a bus, or heaven forbid, ride a dirt road. News for you, even Satan wants you to live with him, a good guy. By the way, I am a runner. Even you run us over. Put Mit back where he belongs, in Union controlled Mich.

I sure hope if that horrible scenario were to happen (where we end up with Romney) that she’d know that her country needs her. I would go with any GOP candidate but Romney!!

Back scratchers…

Politically innocuous back scratch by Democrat Rocky Anderson.

Now, which prominent Republican not pursuing the primary election wreath will scratch Mitt Romney’s back?

Carl Rove?
John Boehner?
Jeb Bush?
GWBush?
GHWBush?
Marco Rubio?
