While Cubans are in the streets demanding freedom, and Floridians march in solidarity, the media is giving the whole thing the downplay treatment. Heck they’re trying to shut down some of it.
We all know the reasons: the press love communism only slightly less than they LOVE celebrities and being liberal icons, and celebrities and icons LOOOVE communism. So they all loved brutal dictator and enemy of the USA Fidel Castro (not least because they just generally love enemies of America cough Iran cough.)
Luckily Tom Elliott from Grabien isn’t going to let them, or any of us, forget about their past adoration during this time of upheaval. Here’s a gross, wet reminder.

Go figure. Democrats can get away with anything, even ignoring the attempted NYC kidnapping of a journalist by Iran. Biden and friends are fine with that.
What they are NOT fine with is blaming communism for problems or articulating the cry for liberty from the Cuban people.
