FLIP FLOP: Beto said he DIDN’T want to take AR-15s away when running against Ted Cruz

Before Beto O’Rourke jumped into the 2020 race for president, he told gun owners in Texas that they could keep their AR-15s if they owned them and that nobody wanted to take them away:

In short, here’s what he said:

“If you purchased that AR-15, if you own it, keep it. Continue to use it responsibly.”

“If you own a gun, keep that gun. Nobody wants to take it away from you — at least I don’t want to do that.”

Beto did say he was against the sale of AR-15s in the above interview, but he made very clear that he didn’t want to take them away from gun owners who had them.

That was then, this is now:

He could never admit this in Texas in a race against Ted Cruz, which is why he lied and said he was against confiscation.

But now that he’s running in a radical socialist Democratic primary, he’s all about confiscation. Big time.

The problem for Beto is that if by some miracle he wins the primary, he won’t be able to take this back. He may try to soften it or walk it back somehow, but it won’t work. We know who he is and Trump will destroy him.
