Flynn brother asks Trump to pardon Mike Flynn, then deletes his tweet…

Mike Flynn’s brother personally asked Trump yesterday on Twitter to pardon the former national security adviser, but then deleted his initial tweet.

It went something like this:

 
Flynn was responding to the tweet from Trump yesterday about how the FBI used the fake dossier to come after the Trump campaign.

He later composed another tweet that sounded a little less demanding when reports of his original deleted tweet starting appearing:

Joseph Flynn confirmed to Newsweek that he did write the earlier tweet and stood by it:

Joseph Flynn told Newsweek that he found Trump’s tweet interesting and so, “I responded.” He added about his own tweet, “I said it, and maybe he’s listening.”

Hours later, he wrote in a tweet to Newsweek about his earlier post, “I stand by my tweet. This is all my personal opinion and I stand by it.”

Moments later, he tweeted again to Trump. “Mr. President, I personally believe that a pardon is due to General Flynn, given the apparent and obvious illegitimacy of the manner in which the so called ‘crimes’ he plead (sic) guilty to were extracted from him,” he wrote. “I ask for quick action on this. Thank you and keep up the good work!”

While there hasn’t been any talk from the Trump administration suggesting Trump intends to pardon Flynn, Trump was asked about it earlier this month and he seemed to leave the door open:
