Former AG Barr agrees to interview with Pelosi’s January 6th Committee

Pelosi’s hack January 6th Committee has gotten former AG Barr to agree to a sit down interview behind closed doors.

Via Newsmax:

Former Attorney General William Barr, who served under former President Donald Trump, has tentatively agreed to provide ”sworn testimony behind closed doors” to the House panel investigating the Jan. 6, 2021 unrest at the Capitol, according to an Axios report.

Barr’s session with the Jan. 6 committee will be a ”transcribed interview,” sources cited in the report state.

According to CNN, Barr informally spoke with the House committee last fall. That two-hour meeting reportedly focused on interactions between Barr and Trump before and after the 2020 election.

The Jan. 6 panel also inquired about Barr apparently informing Trump that there was no ”widespread” election fraud in 2020.

The relevance here? According to Axios, Trump reportedly ”berated” Barr for not getting the Department of Justice to declare the 2020 presidential election ”stolen.”

Barr reportedly refused Trump’s request.

They just keep on and on trying to prove Trump orchestrated the riot that happened on January 6th even though it’s abundantly clear he didn’t. And they will spin a tale claiming he did when all of this is over, just like they tried to claim he was guilty of colluding with Russia even though he never did.

What bugs me is that Pelosi’s committee has been illegitimate from the beginning after she refused to allow Republicans on the committee. But despite this, the media still treats it as if it’s completely appropriate, doing respectable work. It’s outrageous because there’s not a member of the media who would give the same deference to a Republican committee set up under the same circumstances.

That said, I’m not really worried about what Barr might say because I still think he’s a straight shooter even if he disagreed with Trump on the election results. But I might be wrong and I guess we’ll find out soon enough…
