In February 2009, Barack Obama boasted that his just-passed stimulus bill would create 5 MILLION jobs over 10 years in a newly-established “green energy sector.”
Remember that?
So here we are today – at least $150 billion later – and now Joe Biden’s former economic adviser Jared Bernstein admits that there aren’t that many long-term jobs to be had in the sector after all.
Oh well, at least Obama knows better now.
Ha! Not exactly. In fact, Obama is doubling down on wind and solar. And when that doesn’t work, he’ll triple down. Because no matter how many more clean energy companies go bankrupt or how few jobs are created despite massive government “investment”, Obama will just keep marching us right over the cliff to fiscal oblivion.
