Former MSNBC host and current CNN analyst, David Gregory, does not like Trump saying that we should be less politically correct because he doesn’t think it’s helpful at all (via The DC):
“There are lots of people including on CNN’s air who have the experience, who have been in this terror war for a long time who could focus on what actually works and what doesn’t work. Talking about being less politically correct and that, that’s not helpful. That’s not leading. That’s not getting to solve the problem.”
He acts as though Trump isn’t actually enacting policies that will try and solve the problem, which is just dumb for someone who’s been in this terror war for such a long time. Has Gregory ever heard from Trump’s travel ban? You know, the one that keeps getting held up in liberal courts even when they rewrite it?
Didn’t Gregory see that Trump just said yesterday said that he’s telling Homeland Security to ‘step up’ their ‘extreme vetting’ program and that today he announced he’s calling on Congress to end this diversity lottery program.
Why is David Gregory getting so stuck on Trump saying we should be less politically correct? After all, political correctness really is part of the problem and I think he’s trying to implement less politically correct policies to keep terrorists out of the country.
C’mon Gregory, if you’re really a responsible journalist maybe you should pay more attention to all that Trump is doing instead of unfairly whining about Trump’s mention of political correctness.
