Michael Knowles from the Daily Wire was on Fox News last night and referred to Greta Thunberg as a “mentally ill Swedish child”, which apparently offended the Democrat who was on the air with him:

As far as Knowles comment, I’m not sure what he said that was so wrong here. Isn’t Aspergers considered a mental illness?
Fox News didn’t like it and issued a statement to the Daily Beast apologizing for his comments:
A Fox News spokesperson provided the following statement to The Daily Beast on Knowles’ remarks: “The comment made by Michael Knowles who was a guest on The Story tonight was disgraceful—we apologize to Greta Thunberg and to our viewers.”
Fox News also told The Hollywood Reporter’s Jeremy Barr that it has no plans to book Knowles again as a guest.
So they aren’t going to book him again? Geez.
Knowles didn’t go out of his way to insult the girl. He just said she was mentally ill. Even if that’s the wrong terminology, a slap on the wrist would seem more appropriate. To permanently dump him as a guest is a huge overreaction and stupid.
