Fox News was pummeled with complaints after their segment on President Trump cancelling the visit from the Philadelphia Eagles showed a photo of players from the team appearing to kneel during the anthem. The photo misled the Fox News audience because it showed Philadelphia Eagles players kneeling in prayer, not kneeling in protest during the national anthem.
Fox News apologized in a statement Tuesday.

When the segment aired and was promoted on Twitter Monday, Eagles tight end Zach Ertz blasted the network on his social media account.
This can’t be serious…. Praying before games with my teammates, well before the anthem, is being used for your propaganda?! Just sad, I feel like you guys should have to be better than this… https://t.co/kYeyH2zXdK

Ugh. Just awful. And this is not the kind of thing you do accidentally. They knew what they were doing.
All just to keep sucking up to Trump. Pathetic.
