Last night both Sean Hannity and Judge Pirro went on stage last night at a Trump rally, and Fox News is not happy about it.
First, here’s the clip of Hannity:
And Pirro:
According to the AP Fox News wasn’t happy about it:
NEW YORK (AP) — Fox News says it does not condone any of its journalists appearing in a campaign event, hours after prime-time host Sean Hannity spoke at President Trump's final rally before the midterm election.
Fox called it an "unfortunate distraction" that has been addressed.— Zeke Miller (@ZekeJMiller) November 6, 2018
I think the use of the word ‘journalists’ isn’t something that necessarily applies to Hannity and Pirro. They are opinion people, not journalists. But Fox News didn’t actually call them journalists in their official statement. They used the word ‘talent’:
Hannity has since defended himself on Twitter after the backlash:

Pirro hasn’t released any statements, on Twitter or elsewhere, that I’ve seen.
I doubt we’ll be seeing either of them on stage with Trump again after this mishap.
UPDATE:
One last thought on the issue…
Hannity is a talk show host and has always been a strong GOP partisan. He never pretends to be anything else.
The problem with the liberal advocates at CNN/NBC/NYT/WaPo is that they pretend to be neutral.
