One thing is stark when it comes to endorsements, and that is that Trump is clearly law enforcement’s pick when it comes to the election:

As Fraternal Order of Police Chairman Rob Pride tells CNN, they have the most democratic process when it comes presidential endorsements.
He says leadership does not tell members who the group will be endorsing, but rather it’s the other way around. And he says the FOP members voted overwhelmingly to endorse President Trump for this presidential election.
Just to give you some idea of what that really means, Wikipedia notes that the FOP “reports a membership of over 330,000 members.” That is YUGE, to put it in Trump lingo.
