Fraternal Order of Police shoots down racial anti-cop narrative from Rashida Tlaib

So this is interesting. Rashida Tlaib tried to compare the shooting of black men by police with the white guys running around the Michigan capitol in protest of the lockdown:

You can image some people were upset by the comparison. But honestly, for those of us who consider ourselves conservative, IF someone can prove a disparity in law enforcement, we should be opposed to it, right? Well, then the question becomes whether there is indeed a racial disparity in police shootings.

Here’s what the National Academy of Sciences found in a report on police shootings:

That’s very interesting, and I really hope it’s true. I definitely don’t want to go on ignoring a racial disparity in what should be the best country in the world. But that report makes me think that a lot of statistics liberals push about this are not quite accurate. I’d honestly like to see a fair assessment of these findings by those who disagree.

The Fraternal Order of Police continued:

As an American who was raised in a minority ghetto, I absolutely agree. I saw plenty of dirtbags keeping down their own people with crime while whining about oppression from the cops.

AND, they even address some of the excesses of the protests:

Very fair, I think.
