Freedom Caucus Member Mark Sanford told CNN this morning that he attempted to read the 200-ish page bill, but admitted he glossed over some of the details:

Sanford says the amendments were the most important thing to him, so he read those in depth. But he also pointed out that he has a political staff that helps go through these bills, and between his and their readings of the bill combined, they had it covered.
