Almost have to think Sarah has been working with a speech trainer, her voice was much more serious sounding, not so shrill , could she be getting ready for something big?

To me, it doesn’t seem like the GOP is to excited about Romney. Almost every demunist leader is out screaming about how bad Romney is and there is not much is really heard from Boehner, McConnell, republicRAT “higher ups”.

Should the rep’s take control of the House and Senate but not the White House, then obama would have to deal with all the taxes that are starting in 2013, not Romney.

In the warped political thinking, it may be better to have obama in the White House then.

Yeah, that’s warped all right… There is no upside to another 4 years … Romney might not be the second coming of conservatism but America desperately needs some pro business driven policy now… Romney is a businessman and a highly successful one . His expertise is right up America’s alley in terms of what we need now. America is a failing business enterprise at the moment. Failed incompetent management, bloated redundant agencies, out of control spending, the staff is rife with criminals, If there was ever a candidate for a turnaround the U.S. is it.. Pink slips are in order.. On the other hand Obama hasn’t ever run a pop stand or for that matter ever worked at one….. Obama is totally incapable of the job at hand, if he even Wanted to do it. The flooding must be brought under control then stopped, the ship righted and then we… Read more »

This West snakeoil ad by the obama campaign is the attempt to use reverse psychology on women.
We know who is knocking out men, women, granny, and childern, it’s Obama and the Democrat Party.
We have been told for many years women use both sides of their brains, let’s hope so, I only use one side on mine and I can see through these jerks like looking through clear glass.

Romney better pick a VP candidate that’ll throw down. A good boss always hires to his weaknesses. In my job I always look at what others have done before me that were successful. Then I do the same thing. Ill add my own things that work also. Well, Romney its time for some history lessons. Watch Ronald Reagan’s two campaigns and do the EXACT same thing!! Got it? Most people you run against for the presidency have at most some financial missteps or an affair or whatever. Some kinda slip up. This damn Obama has Rezko. This Guy has Bill Ayers. This Guy has Bernadine Dorhn. This Guy has two mentors who are Communists and at best just radicals. This Guy has fast and furious. This Guy has perpetual green technology bankruptcy. This Guy has been caught on tape telling the prime minister of Russia that he’ll have more “flexibility”… Read more »

Here’s an interesting read: http://www.ricochet.com/main-feed/Landslide-on-the-Horizon Especially this part: Second, he needs to force Obama to make errors. To this end, he needs to get under the President’s skin. He did this to Newt Gingrich in Florida, and it worked like a charm. Obama is even vainer than Newt, and he cannot stand mockery. Moreover, he hates Romney with all the resentment that phony intellectuals ordinarily harbor for successful businessmen. The gentler the mockery in this case, the lighter the touch, the more devastating it will be. Romney’s theme should be that the poor fellow is just not up to the job and that he should be left free to spend all of his time doing what he really enjoys — playing golf. The SuperPACs may be able to carry the ball on this. Emphasis mine. Gentle, light-hearted mockery would be more devastating because it would be more effective at irritating… Read more »

Thanks. It’s somewhat comforting and we sense something big because when “they” — meaning LSM / pollsters — say we conservatives / Republicans are “highly motivated, “they” don’t know that means that we are going to crawl over broken glass through a freezing blizzard to vote against the Preezy.

But in the spirit of Indy Glenn quoting Han Solo, “Don’t get cocky, kid.”
And we know that for America’s future, we can’t afford to.

I find it kind of funny that Obama is using primary-Romney type attacks against Romney. What comes around goes around.

The commie agitatior Soptic ad was successful. Did exactly what it was supposed to do. It keeps folks from talking about the obamessiah’s policies and failures. Also, it puts Romney on the defensive, as he has to respond to this marxist propaganda.

Absolutely! Nazi Germany, Soviet Russia and Maoist China prove that propaganda works. The Democratic Party simply adopted a model which worked.

WFM, even Saul Alinsky’s book was written before Al Gore invented the internet ;-). Propaganda isn’t working like it used to, and certainly Alinsky never envisioned the power of the internet when he wrote Rules for Radicals.

I agree with you it was the intended purpose of the ad, Yazz, but I’m thinking these commie Alinsky-type attacks aren’t really working out the way they planned. First of all, Romney stays cool as a cucumber. I have to laugh about that, because everyone thinks he’s boring and stiff, but those qualities come in quite handy at a time like this. The attacks seem to roll right off of him. I don’t see him running around in defense mode AT ALL. If anything, his campaign gets the rebuttal ads out faster than we can think, and he just keeps plugging away with his economy message with that same confident little smirk on his face, thereby not allowing these attacks to take the focus off of Obama’s policies. We criticize Romney for not taking these attacks head-on and continuing with his anti-Obama campaign as if none of it is going… Read more »

You’re still in the primary mode?
It’s time to pick up your weapon and turn around to fight that huge army on the opposing hill.
What good are you serving in elbowing and kicking your own side?
I wouldn’t want to be in your foxhole.

In the primary, you can argue over who is going to be the better general, like Patton or Montgomery. Personally, I thought Montgomery was a pompous ass.
But you have to remember you have to stop the fascist Nazis. And you even have to stop the ordinary Krauts fighting for them.

To any liberal Democrat or journalist (but I repeat myself) reading this:
This or any military analogy does not mean we want to literally kill anyone.

But the lefties emoting guttural moans and groans of defeat may sound like a Civil War hospital…

You’re right, Breitbart was a godsend.
Thank you Andrew. I grew up and live in California too.
That really informs one of the liberal mindset.
The mindset is the ultimate irony: it’s everything that it thinks it’s not, pious self-righteousness, sheep-like obedience, shallow ignorance.

And if the Tea Party has taught us anything it’s this: Nobody is above getting primaried.
Romney: IF you win, remember 2016 will be closer than you think.

Rosie, I like your very sensible approach to realizing where we are right now and supporting our candidate. I was a Newt guy, too. As long as Romney ignores these attack ads and stays cool and on message about the horrible mess Obama has made of the economy, we’ll have a new President come this November.

I saw a pic of SP on Drudge the other day and showed it to a couple of conservative males at work. She was in Mo campaigning for Steelman. Some twit in whatever paper was decrying SP for her choice of clothing. Complete case of female jealousy. So my friends commented that despite the fact that SP has had what 4 or 5 kids, that profile of her behind the podium was just old fashioned “smoking a$$ hot”. Yeah and we made this remark in front of our resident female socialist. Oh man was she ever miffed. Too bad, so sad.

I wish I was wrong but I would be fooling myself to think that America cares about politics and the direction of the country. Just look around. There’s a few of us that actually care but I remember before I got into politics I could care less about republicans or democrats and that’s where the majority of Americans are, I thought I was being being liberal with the 80% number, I bet it higher than that. I like Palin and I think she has some really good things to say. But I agree about the reality TV stuff. I fear it damaged her chances of being taken seriously-maybe not by those who already like her and know what she really stands for-but those on the fence. The left/media has already shamelessly attacked her-and her kids-credibility and convinced a huge number of people she is unqualified…or worse. In my opinion, some of the choices made by the Palins while riding the rock star wave were mistakes in the long run. I’m all about being the family next door, one of the people, etc…but national politics is a mean game…not likely to be kind to someone who’s daughters have that kind of exposure. Well, its just kind of celebtard tacky…actually the left should love it as they worship the same thing…but its different rules for conservatives, she should… Read more »

You are a crude thinker. Did you WATCH Sarah Palin’s Alaska? It is HARD PRESSED to be described as a “reality show” as most people think of them. There was nothing “celebtard” about it. Since WHEN do we allow what the children of our politicians do affect their politcal careers? This is a standard that is ONLY held out for Gov. Palin. Try not to be such a hack.

I haven’t seen other first families do a LOT of things, that doesn’t mean they can’t or shouldn’t be able to do what they want to do. There is NOTHING wrong with the great competition on dancing with the stars, it is ballroom dancing for crying out loud, not “The Bachelorette”. Anyway, Joe Biden’s daughter was aressted in an altercation outside a chicago bar and put on youtube snorting cocaine at house party, makes learning to dance and competing in a tough competition look kind of tame, don’tcha think? Well then you don’t agree with Breitbart because on this subject he commented that Palin “gets it.” Breitbart believed that the reason conservatives were behind was because they allowed the left to capture the culture. Palin is effecting the culture. She has changed many minds. Many people have been open to view “The Undefeated” because they looked at her in a different light.

Congratulations on allowing the left and the gopE to control your thinking with their propaganda.
