Gavin and AOC are attacking DeSantis by claiming exceptions for rape and incest are … BAD?

You hear on cable news every single day all the left wing activists posing as journalists demanding to know why extremist jerk Republicans won’t consider rape exceptions to laws that limit abortions in a state.

In Florida there is just such an exception. Under the new law, if you are seeking an abortion under the rape exception, you can’t just say that you were raped in order to get it. You have to show some evidence. That doesn’t mean a rape kit, it can be as simple as prior domestic abuse reports or complaints, restraining orders, police reports, etc.

It’s really easy to say this is like saying “papers, please” if you are an idiot like Gavin Newsome or AOC. Any reasonable person can obviously see that a woman should not say she was raped if she wasn’t just to get around the law. It’s the only logical way to WRITE the law.

It’s not a rape “exception” if it’s not an exception. The way AOC would have it, the law would make reporting a rape a questionable process and undermine the credibility and force of law in the state. It would HURT rape victims and HARM their own professed belief in rape exceptions to abortion restrictions, which like I said they are on TV every dang day claiming to believe in and demanding that Republican states enact.

But they don’t support those things. As with every single thing every liberal ever has ever claimed to believe, it’s merely a tool to attack with. A culture war weapon. They don’t care about these women, they don’t even believe in the CONCEPT of womanhood. Of gender.

They just want to attack DeSantis and get likes and retweets and Andrea Mitchell’s hand down their pants. That’s it.

And that’s why you now have AOC and Gavin teaming up to ATTACK the idea of a rape exception.

And the rest of the internal logic in the tweet doesn’t make sense either. Observe:

If a Republican did something like this it would be wall to wall coverage on CNN asking why they hate rape victims so much.

Oh by the way, one more thing?

Yeah.
