Geithner: Amount we’d need to borrow to cover future obligations would make you “uncomfortable”

Rest assured though that the figure is north of $50 trillion, because Geithner didn’t exactly dismiss that number out of hand when Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) threw it out there.

$20 trillion, $50 trillion, $100 bazillion. Who really knows, right? Certainly not the Treasury Secretary!
