Tomorrow there will be an expulsion vote for George Santos because of the privileged resolution that was introduced earlier this week. Santos has resisted requests to resign and actually held a presser this morning saying he was fighting the charges.
He added “This is bullying … The reality is, it’s all theater. It’s theater for the cameras, it’s theater for the microphones, it’s theater for the American people — at the expense of the American people.”

Rep. George Santos (R-NY) says he won’t resign because, “if I leave, they win”:

It will take a 2/3rds majority to actually expel Santos from Congress and that is a tall order. The means 290 members must vote in favor of expulsion to oust Santos and while some Republicans have already gone on the record saying they will vote to expel, CNN reports that it will take another 53 Republicans to change their votes from no to yes:
"Santos is toast," GOP Rep. Ryan Zinke told me.
"I think the Ethics report says it all," said Rep. Greg Pence, who plans to vote to expel.

Given the concerns Republicans have over their narrow majority, I think it’s likely Santos will survive this expulsion vote.
