The Supreme Court announced today that it would be issuing a new ruling on Monday. This came after the justices met for the first time today since the leaked Roe v Wade draft opinion.

Here’s a bit more via WPXI:
The Supreme Court’s nine justices met in private Thursday for the first time since the leak of a draft opinion that would overrule Roe v. Wade and sharply curtail abortion rights in roughly half the states.
The court offered no word on what was discussed in the gathering in the justices’ private, wood-paneled conference room, other than to indicate at least one decision will be announced Monday.
By custom, no one aside from the justices attended and the most junior among them, Justice Amy Coney Barrett, was responsible for taking notes.
Monday was not previously a day for opinions, so this news has eyebrows raising everywhere wondering if they are going release their official opinion overturning Roe v Wade.

Some say not to expect it to be their abortion case ruling which overturns Roe v Wade:
Supreme Court will release opinions on Monday at 10 am EDT. 37 argued cases remain to be decided by early summer. Wouldn't expect the abortion case just yet, but big decisions on guns, religion possible.

Supreme Court says Monday will be an opinion day, starting at 10. (No, I wouldn’t expect the abortion ruling, but a Second Amendment decision isn't out of the question.) We'll also have the scheduled orders list at 9:30.

But others, like Lila Rose, believe it very well could be the ruling we’ve been waiting 50 years for…
BREAKING: The Supreme Court has announced they will be issuing opinions this Monday.
That means we could have a final decision in Dobbs, the Case that should overturn Roe v. Wade, the ruling that has led to the slaughter of over 60 million innocent children since 1973.

It’s been nearly 50 years of bloodshed. May justice flow like a river.

While there’s no way to know until Monday (short of a leak), I’m definitely hoping they go ahead and rule on the elephant in the room and be done with Roe v Wade for good.
