Gigi Hadid apologizes for Melania Trump impression with handwritten note

Apparently Gigi Hadid has a conscience after all and has now apologized for the unflattering Melania Trump impression she did at the AMAs:

AP – Gigi Hadid says her Melania Trump impression during the American Music Awards Sunday “was done in good humor with no bad intent.”

In a handwritten note posted on Twitter , the supermodel says she believes the future first lady “understands show business and the way shows are written and run.” Hadid also apologized in the note to anyone that she offended.

Hadid co-hosted the awards with former “Saturday Night Live” impressionist Jay Pharaoh.

It felt like more of a justification/apology, but I am glad she clarified her intent and at least apologized for the offense.
