Trey Gowdy really lit into Adam Schiff over comments he made about Gowdy being one of the “four horsemen of the apocalypse” for Trump.
Gowdy, who says he’s never met Trump nor talked with him, torched Schiff for being a useless hack for Hillary Clinton, eventually telling him the GOP doesn’t give a damn what he thinks.

It’s true that we all know Schiff is a hack. But as Gowdy does so often, he puts a fine point on it by noting that if Schiff had gotten his way…
- We wouldn’t know the spontaneous reaction to the video in Benghazi was a hoax;
- We wouldn’t have read the first Chris Stephens email;
- We wouldn’t know about Hillary’s ‘unique email arrangement’ with herself;
- We wouldn’t know about the dossier and who funded it;
- We wouldn’t know it was used in a court proceeding;
- We wouldn’t know about Strzok and Page;
Gowdy argues that Schiff has done nothing but try and protect Hillary Clinton over the years because he really wanted to be her Attorney General. But when that fell through, he’s decided he now wants badly to be the chair of the House Intelligence Committee.
There’s much more in the video, including his comments about Mueller, Strzok and Page in the second half. In it Gowdy makes a good point about Peter Strzok by giving Kudos to Mueller for firing him as soon as he found out about the texts and then saying:
Here’s what you oughta be asking yourself. If it was bad enough for Bob Mueller to get rid of him the moment he found out about the texts – these texts weren’t written in March of 2017, they were written in March of 2016. So he never should have been on any of these three probes. If the animus was enough to kick him off when you found it, the animus should have been enough to kick him off when he said it which was early in 2016.
